Creator Storefronts

Storefronts give each creator a personalized page on your Shopify store where they can showcase their favorite products. Visitors can browse and shop with the creator’s discount code automatically applied.

How Storefronts Work

Storefronts are powered by Shopify’s App Proxy feature. When a visitor goes to a URL like:
https://yourstore.com/community/sarah
Shopify routes the request to Convertly, which renders the creator’s personalized storefront page within your store’s theme.
Storefronts inherit your Shopify store’s header, footer, and navigation. They look and feel like a native part of your site.

What Appears on a Storefront

Each storefront page includes:
  • Creator bio — name, photo, and a short about section
  • Hero image — a banner image chosen by the creator
  • Featured products — a curated grid of products the creator recommends
  • Discount badge — shows the creator’s discount code prominently
  • Social links — links to the creator’s social profiles
When a visitor clicks a product, they go to the standard Shopify product page with the creator’s discount code pre-applied via a URL parameter (?discount=CODE).

Managing Storefronts

Go to Storefronts in the sidebar to see all creator storefronts. Each one has a status:
StatusMeaning
DraftCreator is still setting up their page
Pending ReviewCreator submitted for approval
PublishedLive and visible on your store
ArchivedTaken offline (creator removed or campaign ended)

Approval Workflow

  1. Creator customizes their storefront in the Creator Portal
  2. Creator submits it for review
  3. You review and Approve or Request Changes
  4. Once approved, it goes live automatically

Template Settings

Under Settings > Storefronts, you can configure global defaults:
  • Layout — grid or list view for products
  • Color scheme — accent colors for storefront elements
  • Products per page — how many products display in the grid
  • Require approval — toggle whether storefronts need manual approval before going live

Discount Auto-Apply

When visitors browse a storefront, the creator’s discount code is embedded in all product links. When they add a product to cart from the storefront, the discount is automatically applied at checkout. This means the creator gets attribution for every sale originating from their storefront page, even if the customer never manually enters a code.
