Webhooks

Convertly registers five webhooks on your Shopify store automatically during installation:
  • orders/create — attributes new orders to creators via discount code matching
  • orders/updated — handles order cancellations and status changes
  • refunds/create — proportionally reverses commissions on refunded items
  • customers/create — tracks new customers referred by creators
  • app/uninstalled — cleans up data if you remove the app
Do not delete these webhooks from your Shopify admin. Convertly will not be able to track orders without them. If webhooks are missing, go to Settings > Integrations and click Re-register Webhooks.

Post-Purchase Widget

Convertly includes an optional post-purchase widget that appears on the order confirmation page. It asks customers “Who referred you?” and helps capture attribution for orders that did not use a tracking link or discount code. To enable it, go to Settings > Integrations > Post-Purchase Widget and toggle it on.

Troubleshooting

Check that the app has Read products permission. Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Apps and sales channels > Convertly and verify permissions.
Verify webhooks are registered: Settings > Integrations > Webhook Status. All five should show a green check. If any are missing, click Re-register.
Your Shopify access token may have expired. Click Reconnect in Settings > Integrations to re-authorize.
